The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows: On June 19, 2025, South Africa is experiencing cool to cold temperatures across most regions, with partly cloudy skies. Freezing conditions are expected in the Western and Northern Cape Provinces, while isolated rain and showers are likely in the south-western areas and along the east coast of KwaZulu-Natal Province. Yellow warnings for damaging coastal winds and waves are in effect from Saldanha Bay to East London, alongside advisories for very cold conditions affecting livestock and agriculture. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to stay at 10°C or below in the interior of the Western Cape Province and Namakwa District until July 20. Light frost is reported in the western interior, and isolated showers are possible around Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal Province. Yellow Level 2 warnings indicate potential difficulties for small vessels between Saldanha Bay and Plettenberg Bay.
